Schroeder is the home of luxury motorhomes in South Africa. If you’re looking for a van to campervan conversion, you can come to us and design your own motorhome from the ground up. Our projects range from adding a bed to a VW bus, all the way up to converting a 33 tonne MAN truck

Whether or not you’d like some advice on a chassis, or already have a chassis that you’d like to turn into a luxury motorhome, our engineers will give you the advice and counselling to turn this dream into a reality

Our planning stage involves multiple discussions to build out the ideal specification for your luxury motorhome. We take into account not only the amenities that you will want but also the kind of use this motorhome will see, and from this list of specifications our engineers will plot out your floor plan, water & electricity maps to keep you abreast of the final design

About Schroeder Motorhomes

Years in business. Founded by Claus Schroeder with his wife Tanja the family business was built.

Claus was a master in carpentry in Germany, learning from many of Germany's top carpenters. After starting to convert his first motorhome for his personal use, he found his passion. His passion was to create the perfect home for everyone traveling on the road. The official Schroeder Motorhome business was founded in 1982. After immigrating to Jeffreys Bay in 2000 the company moved. The focus shifted more towards 4x4 Motorhomes and everything was perfected. After late Claus' passing his 12 year long employee Rushaan became the factory manager and handled the production. While Tanja carries on with the business, they follow Schroeder’s slogan from the start ‘You dream it, we build it’. Tobi, one of the sons is very active in the company. Together with their 10 employees and various freelancers they create the perfect product that meets your needs.
